Organization

General Principles

The Chapters of the four world regions appoint 13 directors who form the Board of Directors (supervision). Each region nominates a Vice Chairman who together with the Chairman form the Executive Commitee (operational steering). The Chairman is elected by the Committee, the assembly of representatives of all member companies. WSTS has two salaried employees, the Administrator and the Assistant to Administrator.

Officers

The Board of Directors supervises the operation of the WSTS and the Executive Committee consisting of the Chairman and the four Regional Vice Chairpersons directs the WSTS programs and services.

WSTS Employees

The Administrator and the Assistent to Administrator are responsible for the operation of all WSTS programs, for the publication of all reports and any other content of this Internet Portal, for the organization of meetings, for member services and for the financial management of the WSTS.

The WSTS member companies are listed below grouped into the four WSTS regions.

Partners

Several partners support WSTS in the operation of market statistics information services. Data Collection Agents receive the revenue data from WSTS member companies and keep this data under their custody. Data preparation for specific reports is performed by a consultant. All aspects of WSTS web presentation are covered by a company specialized in web access and content management systems. A law firm and two accounting firms support WSTS in legal and accountig matters.

Semiconductor Industry Associations

Semiconductor Industry Associations in the different regions closely cooperate with WSTS. In most cases they also hold distribution licenses for WSTS market statistic reports and forecasts to serve interested parties outside the WSTS membership with their information needs.
