Overview

WSTS provides market statistics to the semiconductor industry. Furthermore related upstream and downstream industries, organizations involved in semiconductor securities trading, semiconductor market research firms and other related businesses take benefit of the market data and industry forecasts as issued by WSTS.

Membership

WSTS Membership is available to companies who design and market semiconductors, both discrete and integrated devices. Both fabbed and fabless companies are eligible. Membership with any Semiconductor Industry Association is not a precondition for WSTS membership. Members have access to all information services that WSTS provides on a give and take basis (who contributes may benefit).

Subscription

A fair number of WSTS Market Statistics Reports and Semiconductor Industry Forecasts is also available to organizations outside the WSTS membership. Different forms of subscriptions to WSTS information services may be entered depending on the location and type of business of the subscriber.

WSTS Semiconductor Industry Forecast

WSTS issues twice a year the Semiconductor Industry Forecast. During the so called "Forecast Meetings", each year taking place in May and November, market research experts of WSTS member companies join their knowledge base to develop the forecast.

WSTS Meetings

WSTS meetings serve for the purpose of directing the WSTS policy and operation, as forums of information exchange within the semiconductor industry, and of preparing an industry forecast 3 years ahead. This document provides information on meeting objectives, participants, frequency and locations.
