Committee Meeting Participants

Each WSTS Member Company has one official representative in the Committee, who is expected to participate in the Committee Meeting (Business Meeting) and to assume their voting rights during the Business Meeting on Tuesday morning. Any other employee of a WSTS Member Company is invited to participate in all parts of the Committee Meeting (Business Meeting and Forecast Meeting). Participation in the Forecast Meeting is subject to the submission of a premeeting forecast.
Furthermore the representatives of the Semiconductor Industry Associations are invited to participate as observers. During your registration you will be required to declare in which role you will attend the meeting.
Certain detailed information such as the agenda, the list of participants etc. is only accessible to holders of WSTS user accounts and/or to registered participants. If you have registered but do not have a WSTS user account, you may login to this meeting web site (right upper corner) with your registration ID as user name and your last name as password.

Any non-member semiconductor company who has serious interest in joining WSTS may send a participant to the Committee Meeting as observer. Such request is to be made to the WSTS Administrator.

Participation Fee and Hotel Cost

Participation Fee: The applicable rates are summarized in the table below.

Please observe the following deadlines:
24 August 2022 start of registration period.
14 September 2022 last day to benefit from discounted participation fee.
14 October 2022 last day to benefit from standard participation fee.
31 October 2022 last day for meeting registration or change of registration.
Participants who booked at the discounted participation fee (on or before 14 September), but who change any details of their registration after 14 September will have to pay the regular participation fee. Minor changes (change of room type, addition of supplementary information) however will not cause a reassessment of the participation fee. In the case of registration cancellation, in whole or in part, WSTS will retain US$100 per day or US$300 for the entire meeting.

Participation fees include a daily buffet lunch, a morning and afternoon break with coffee, tea and other refreshments, as well as a dinner on Tuesday and Thursday. The dinners are also available to accompanying spouses free of charge. 

Hotel Cost

Room rates include breakfast, internet access, service charge and all applicable taxes.

Active Participation

Contact the Vice Chairman of your region if you are willing to make a presentation or lead a session at the meeting.

Submission of Pre-Meeting Forecast

Participation in the Forecast Meeting is subject to the submission of a premeeting forecast. Schedule:
26 October 2022: issue of blank pre-meeting forecast file including Q3 2022 BB data
08 November 2022: submission of pre-meeting forecast to WSTS
10 November 2022: publication of pre-meeting average forecast to all participating companies

Entry Requirements for Japan

1. All travelers entering Japan, from the ‘Blue’ Countries, see list: LINK will not need to test prior to departure, should they possess a valid vaccination certificate, showing 3 doses of COVID-19 vaccine. Those with 1 or 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccine, will be required to submit a negative result of a pre-departure COVID-19 test, taken within 72 hours of departure. 2. All the attendees must install “MySOS” application on their smartphones during their stay in Japan. Attendees are recommended to install the “MySOS” application and use the “Fast Track” system to complete quarantine procedures via the application in advance (a couple days before you depart your country), so that you can smoothly pass through the immigration. Otherwise, it is possible to waste additional hours at the airport! https://www.allm.net/en/mysos

Travel and Transfer

Most participants from abroad will travel by air and arrive at Hiroshima International Airport (HIJ).
The distance from Hiroshima International Airport to the Sheraton hotel is about 40 km.

The taxi cost from Hiroshima airport to the hotel is approximately 20,000 JPY. The Sheraton address in Japanese language is available for download at the end of this page.
