Committee Meeting Participants
Each WSTS Member Company has one official representative in the Committee, who is expected to participate in the Committee Meeting and to assume his/her voting rights in the Business Meeting on Tuesday morning. Any other employee of a WSTS Member Company is invited to participate in all parts of the Committee Meeting. Participation in the Forecast Meeting is subject to the submission of a premeeting forecast. Furthermore the representatives of the sponsoring Semiconductor Industry Associations are invited to participate as observers. During your registration you will be required to declare in which role you will attend the meeting. Certain detailed information such as the agenda, the list of participants etc. is only accessible to holders of WSTS user accounts or to registered participants. If you have registered but do not have a WSTS user account, you may login with your registration ID as user name and your last name as password.
Any non-member semiconductor company who has serious interest to join WSTS may send a participant to the Committee Meeting as observer. Such request is to be made to the WSTS Administrator.
Travel and Transfer
Most participants will travel by air and arrive at Seattle Tacoma International Airport. Transfer to the hotel will take 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic type of ground transportation.
Seattle Tacoma International Airport has direct flights from all major US cities, so that domestic participants will normally enjoy direct flights. Intercontinental services are currently available from Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Paris, Seoul, Taipei and Tokyo. By the time of the meeting a direct service from Frankfurt will also be available.
Ground transportation: from SeaTac airport, there are several options:
For those comfortable driving in the US, a rental car is an esy way to get to the Hotel Deca. There are many car rental agencies at the airport and the drive to the hotel is simple and direct. Take Highway 5 north past downtown, past Lake Union to the 45th Street exit. Turn right on to 45th Street, go down six blocks to Brooklyn Avenue. Turn left on Brooklyn and then turn left into the hotel parking lot.
Shuttle to the Hotel Deca: Shuttle Express is one of the shuttle services operating in the Seattle area. The website is: www.shuttleexpress.com. Online reservations can be made and both roundtrip and one way reservations are available. Cost per person depends on the number of people making the reservation. If you are arriving with someone else from WSTS and can arrange to make the shuttle trip together, you will save some money:

As with most shuttle services, the driver will probably wait to fill the shuttle before departing from the airport and will most likely make other stops before reaching the Hotel Deca. Therefore it is not known how long the trip will take, it could be as short as 40 minutes or it could take up to 1.5 hours.
While staying at the Deca: the Hotel Deca provides a courtesy 6 passenger shuttle service within a 4four mile radius of the hotel. Use of the courtesy shuttle is based on availability. Hours are 7:30 a.m through 10:00 p.m. seven days a week. Reservations to use the free shuttle service are made at the hotel.

Participation Fee
The regular fee is $100 to $130 per day or $420 for the entire meeting. Participants who registered before 7 March 2008 receive the discounted participation fee of $60 to $80 per day or $250 for the entire meeting. Participants who booked at the discounted participation fee (before 7 March), but who change any details of their registration after 7 March will have to pay the regular participation fee. Minor changes (change of room type, addition of supplementary information) will however not cause a reassessment of the participation fee. For registrations after the ordinary deadline of 10 April 2008 a late registration fee will apply, which is $120 to $150 per day or $500 for the entire meeting. Participants who do not book a hotel room through the WSTS registration system will be charged an additional $15 per day of participation to recover general overheads that otherwise would have been included in the room rate. Participation fees include a daily breakfast, a buffet lunch, a morning and afternoon break with coffee, tea and other refreshments as well as a dinner on Tuesday and Thursday. These meals are also available to accompanying spouses free of charge.
The period for registration begins on 11 February and ends on 7 May 2008.
If you have any changes in your travel plans after the registration period has ended, contact the hotel directly to change your room reservation. The WSTS contact at the Deca hotel is Michelle Fuller.
